Breathe Daily With Us

July 18, 2007 at 10:05 pm | In BREATHE | No Comments

Do you ever find yourself holding your breath? I for one notice that I am holding my breath…often!

How then if I find myself so frequently holding my breath is it that I am still alive? I can tell you this with certainty: an individual is not living to his/her fullest potential if breathing is constricted by lack of awareness. Fret not my friends and let us breathe together. The moment we begin to notice our patterns of breathing or absence thereof is the moment we begin living from our true power. So notice the breath and breathe with me; you can rest assured that when you read this and take that first breath in powerful awareness that I will be here breathing too.

As we notice the breath moving within and without, the frequency of peaceful thoughts increases exponentially. From this place of awareness and presence, our emotional guidance becomes clear and we are able to connect and move powerfully toward all the joy, abundance and peace that our desire and source has created for us since our birth.

From the mind that creates its reality powerfully, you will find a mind drenched in the energy that only breath and the presence created by awareness of the rhythms of the breath creates.
Just keep coming back to the breathing with your awareness and awareness will grow. In short life becomes easier as you strengthen all aspects of your being when such a practice is followed with effortless consistency. Let the breath come in and let the brain grow. Let the breath come in and allow the radiations of your peaceful soul to shine throughout your world. Let the breath come now and all actions and thoughts move to a place of non-resistance; a place enraptured with the energy that creates worlds.

Love long and prosper,

A Quick Breathing Break

April 27, 2007 at 4:00 pm | In BREATHE | 3 Comments

As you sit and read these words on the computer screen, you are instantly transported to a moment in time that is peaceful and joyous. You might already feel yourself taking a deeper breath than the one before, and you might feel yourself sitting just a bit straighter, adjusting your shoulders, and noticing any tension or tightness. Feel the sensations in your body, and just notice any tension. Take a nice, deep breath, fully filling your lungs to capacity, then exhaling, evenly and slowly, until all the breath is completely out, letting your solar plexus push out even more air, even when you thought there was no more left to exhale.

Now take another deep and cleansing breath, breathing in relaxation and vibrant health, bringing powerful strength and energy to every cell of your being. Let this vibrant health flow through you on a constant basis, as it always does, and feel the tingling sensations, however subtle they are, as your body accepts the healing energy. Stretch your arms and legs, gently move your head side to side, or rolling it as you see fit, moving your body, taking nice, deep breaths, releasing any and all tension in this moment.

Relaxing and healthy in this moment, allow yourself in this moment to just BE.

And always remember to breathe!

A Healed World In Every Breath

March 7, 2007 at 5:12 am | In BREATHE | No Comments

In this miraculous new world in which we live there are those who believe that we have gotten, as a collective humanity, a little too big for our britches. Many feel humanity has created a stress inducing monster of a culture that surely will be the tipping point for another fall from health to a state of sickness and despair.

I am here to tell everyone that this fear is simply preposterous. We are descended from the infinite and being so there is nothing that man could create that could ever be too big, or overwhelming as to cause a decline of health and wellness. A single individual with enough focus has the ability to change the weather and influence the cosmos. How much more will our power grow when we see one another on the soul level rather than the level of thoughts and concepts. When we realize that we all have the same fears and love and dreams at a deep and common level, we will change the world overnight to a place of peace and tranquility.

We are what we most consistently focus on. What do you focus on with all your hearts intent that is harmonious with your awakening? If only for a moment you realize that compassion is in your heart there is nothing in creation that can take it from you ever.

We will heal the heart of the Earth with our thoughts and actions. Stay connected with your breath ever increasing it’s depth. Here is your power…use it wisely and for the good of all.

Love long and prosper,

A Moment to Breathe

March 2, 2007 at 6:59 pm | In BREATHE | No Comments

You are reading this here and NOW for a reason. You need some space, a moment to call your own. I’m writing this to let you know you have found it: a moment all to yourself, a moment to take a nice, deep breath in, and release all the tension that has been building within you. Take another deep breath, filling your lungs all the way to the bottom, and then taking in a bit more air . . . then releasing all the air out, easily, smoothly all the way out. Now slowly bring your shoulders up to your ears, and release them down, letting them hang down by your side, allowing the ground to pull them toward the center of the earth. Sit in stature with your arms down by your side, so that you can feel the support in your back, the flow of energy as you breathe in and out, releasing all stiffness or tension from anywhere in your body, down and out into the earth through the bottoms of your feet, and even out the palms of your hands or your fingertips. Just release the excess energy, allowing it to flow and move, knowing that you are your own best power-generator, and that you can create this moment of relaxation again and again, any time you wish.

Be well.

Remember to Breathe!

December 30, 2006 at 6:31 pm | In BREATHE, Stress Release | No Comments

I was on the train the other day, along with a whole lot of people who looked like they had just gotten off of work (it was about 5:30 pm). No one was talking, and no one was making eye contact. Most just looked at the floor, or kept busy by attending to their hands or some other object on their person.

All of a sudden I felt like I couldn’t breathe! I tried to take a deep breath and I realized that I felt uncomfortable doing so. No one else was breathing deeply. What gave ME the right to take a deep breath? Who was I to live life fully, breathing in life-sustaining air that would travel to every cell of my body?

When I stopped that line of thought, I realized that I had picked up on a collective thought current that was subtly running through the group on the train. Most, if not all, were on automatic pilot, getting up early, going through their morning routine, catching the train, going through their usual workday, and then catching the train home. Same old, same old. Many had long since given up on their dreams, even though those dreams were still in the back on their minds beckoning them to step up, maybe even taunting them at this point. But they were now experts at making excuses for NOT living their dream.

Sitting snugly between two commuters, all of us bundled up in coats, scarves and sweaters to protect us from the winter weather, I dared to take a deep breath. My shoulders pushed against my companions until my lungs had their fill. The woman on my right looked at me. No matter what she was thinking, that breath felt so good I just had to take another one! For the next breath, I decided to go for a nice deep, long yawn. Again, the woman looked at me, and then something fantastic happened—she yawned, too!

Next thing I know it someone across from me yawned, then a man standing in the aisle who I don’t thing was even physically looking at me yawned! I even noticed some people taking a deep breath. To me, this was exhilarating! It felt like the entire train was taking a load off.

I don’t know what anyone else felt, and I can only speak for myself, but I felt so much lighter and a whole lot better than when I entered that train. Breathing is a necessity of life, something we do every day. Even so, there is an art to it, and when done consciously and intentionally, it becomes magic. It releases tension, soothes our mind and body, and it frees up our very soul.

By remembering to take a deep breath from time to time, and consciously allowing it to circulate to every cell in the body, your dreams may rise to the surface… and then ANYTHING is possible!

Just Breathe . . .

December 22, 2006 at 11:06 pm | In BREATHE | 2 Comments

Being that we’re smack in the middle of the busiest time of year, we thought it would be nice to give you some relaxing, quick food-for-thought. On average a human takes 15 breaths per minute, or 21,600 breaths per day. That’s a lot of breathing! We’re professionals at it. Yet, so many of us are not breathing deeply enough during the times we need it the most, and that adds to our stress levels. Let’s take a moment right now to BREATHE.

Start by noticing how you were breathing before we brought up the subject. Take a deep breath, deeper than the last breath you took. Fill your lungs all the way down to the bottom, as if you were going to push it right down into your legs. See how far out your belly will go! Allow your shoulders to rise, and then fall with the exhalation. Sit in stature—your back will straighten and your shoulders will roll back when you sit in stature.

Imagine and pretend that with every breath you take you are nourishing your body; and with every exhalation you are cleansing and clearing your body. Let all the healing energy flow to you and all the stress flow down to the center of the earth. Ahhhhhh . . .
